RightWood
is a pre-finished whitewood fence board. Each
individual RightWood board is coated with our safe,
long lasting proprietary water based latex stain
that resists mold, fungus and decay yet it is safe
for family pets and wildlife. Our RightWood stains
were developed to give the appearance of Western
Red Cedar and Redwood, which makes RightWood both
an attractive and economical option. RightWood
fencing is not pressure treated and does not contain
metallic compounds – no
arsenic, lead or copper.
Like all TMI products, RightWood is milled from the
whole log and is never a fall down or by product of
other operations.

Characteristics
of Whitewoods
Whitewoods are some of the most prominent forest trees in stands along the northwest
coast of North America. Whitewood has long been a valuable commercial timber
species for building and woodworking because of its character, sturdiness and
availability.
The
whitewood used to produce RightWood comes from
the largest renewable softwood supply in the United
States – the “working” forests
of the Pacific Northwest. These forests are managed
to balance the need for a sustainable yield of wood
products with the needs of fish & wildlife. TMI
is proud to be a part of the development of products
from these forests.

Maintenance
As with any wood that is exposed to the outdoor elements,
weather and age will slowly take their toll. To maintain
a like-new appearance we recommend applying a coat
of stain when you want to refresh the color. Care should
be taken to use only exterior stains designed to protect
the wood from the elements and be compatible with water-based
stains. Please
see your RightWood distributor for re-finishing
instructions.
